“I provide a warm, non-judgmental space where you can explore what’s happening beneath the surface — your emotions, relationships, patterns, and goals — so you can move toward greater clarity, confidence, and connection.
Sophie specialises in working with anxiety and depression, ongoing stress, trauma and ptsd, mental health conditions, grief and loss, and chronic health conditions such as ME / CFS, Long Covid, fibromyalgia. Sophie also works with relationship challenges, and life transitions and can support you to make the next step in your career or move toward something different in your life.
Whether you’re struggling with anxiety, relationship difficulties, grief, stress, or a general sense of feeling “stuck,” I’m here to help you slow down, reflect, and create lasting change”.
In addition Sophie offers Somatic Touch Practice which is especially suited to those with chronic health conditions and highly sensitive nervous systems. Sophie has experienced healing from Long Covid, CFS / ME herself and and wants to bring her understanding to your healing journey.
Somatic Touch Practice is also beneficial for people who’ve experienced relational and developmental trauma. That is, any trauma that occurs at a young age. This could be growing up with a parent with a mental illness or a chronic medical or health condition, or the loss of a parent in childhood, or the experience of family violence. Somatic Touch practice helps regulate & supports processing on a pre or non verbal level.
Sophie is committed to providing a safe environment that is inclusive, affirming, and respectful of people of all abilities, identities, sexualities, genders, cultures, and backgrounds as well as those who are neurodiverse . You are welcome exactly as you are.
Sophie offers supervision for psychologists, counsellors, psychotherapists and social workers, and can help practitioners integrate trauma informed Somatic Practice into their work.
Sophie works at Samantha Drive Mornington on Monday and some Thursdays.
