integrated somatic practice

Creative, inclusive, insightful

Sophie has developed Somatic Practice integrating Somatic Experiencing® trauma therapy with gestalt psychotherapy and art therapy and drawing from developmental and attachment models, to provide a creative, embodied and highly attuned style of therapy that supports the processing and release of stress and trauma within a safe therapeutic relationship.

I provide a warm, non-judgmental space where you can explore what’s happening beneath the surface — your emotions, relationships, patterns, and goals — so you can move toward greater clarity, confidence and connection.

integrated somatic touch practice

Integrated Somatic Touch Practice is especially suited to those with chronic health conditions and highly sensitive nervous systems.

Integrated Somatic Touch Practice is also beneficial for people who’ve experienced attachment, relational and developmental trauma (trauma that occurs at a young age). This could be growing up with a parent with a mental illness or a chronic health condition, or the loss of a parent in childhood, or the experience of family violence. Somatic Touch practice helps regulate your nervous system & supports processing on a pre- or non-verbal level.

inclusive

Integrated Somatic Practice is inclusive and Sophie is committed to providing an safe environment that is liberating, affirming and respectful for people of all abilities, identities, sexualities, genders, cultures and backgrounds, as well as those who are neurodiverse. You’re welcome exactly as you are.
